I know this isn't usually the place/forum for selling wildlife - but my friend has just bought a property down at Crib Point in Victoria and has found himself babysitting a Female Red-tailed Black Cockatoo.
The elderly gentleman who sold the property said he had given up trying to find a home. He does have a license (basic I think) so this will be a legitimate transaction. She is 8 years old and aparently bred when she was 5 or 6. I'm sorry to all the bird experts - I don't know what her exact genus is.
Is anyone interested in her (obviously for some financial compensation) for their breeding programs?
