This is an island I have worked on since 1986. When we started it was choked with weeds, and overrun with rats and also had cats. We removed the cats, rats and many of the weeds. We introduced kestrels there also but it proved too small for them and they left and bred on the mainland. We are also introducing seabirds to the island.
