Reposted for a working link: Project to save the “Rhinoceros of the Caribbean” gets gold standard. Thanks for getting on to it though.
The Grupo Jaraga and quarry company CEMEX have worked together to restore critical habitats for rhino iguanas, started reforestation project, PA activities and new more sustainable employment opportunities for iguana hunters. A nearby lagoon also benefits from the cooperative effort, including another endangered taxi, the Hispaniolan slider!!!
