I visited the Roundhouse Aquarium and reviewed it on my Snowleopard's 2017 Road Trip thread and in all honesty the place was a bit of a dump back then. The good news is that the facility has had a $4 million revitalization and it reopened in November. The building itself was built in 1920 and has historic value, while the aquarium has been in existence since 1981. The newly remodeled aquarium is free-to-enter, has 17 tanks and is still inside the same 2,000 sq. ft. building at the end of a very long pier. It is pretty cool that next year will be the 100th anniversary of the construction of the building.
