For those of you who do not know, this is a 700 acre ranch in Sahuarita (about 30 miles south of Tucson) that was donated to the Reid Park Zoological Society almost one year ago. I found out today we have already built a bolsons tortoise enclosure and have had the tortoises there for a little while.
There are negotitations about a potential major next step, but at this point it is tentative and I cannot publicly state what it might be. If anyone who has been to Reid Park Zoo and has followed this development wants a hint, you can PM me and I will send you a confidential response.
