Review: Absolute incredible (9/10)
This is without a doubt my favorite non-AZA zoo I've ever visited. I'm trying to be unbiased as one of my best friends is an employee, but anyways on with the review.
This zoo is amazing, the animals are curious and clearly well cared for, the staff is attentive and friendly (some bias there) and the park is clean.
My personal favorite is the contact yard. Ever since my visit in August, I've fallen in love with hoofstock, especially Nilgai and Blackbuck as they were extremely adorable and curious (even going as far as to stick their noses in my camera lens). The tour was fun, I've never seen most of the animals this up close, and now after meeting them face to face, my passion for them has only grown. I consider this of my personal favorite zoos and I am planning another visit within the next few weeks.
Highlights:
  • Befriending Blackbuck and Nilgai
  • Getting "accidentally" run into by a tortoise
  • Getting licked by a yak
