Safari West

I've always likened it to the San Diego Wild Animal Park of Northern California albeit much, much smaller. They have a pretty nice collection of hoofstock that's pretty much free to roam wherever they want. I've been twice and I still haven't seen their herd of Watusi Cattle, but we did get about twenty feet from their herd of Cape Buffalo.

They also have a couple of lemur species and a nice collection of cheetahs, but no lions, apes, etc. If memory serves, they said the insurance on the lions alone would bankrupt the place.

Oh, and they had a pair of de Brazza's monkeys the last time I was there. I haven't seen that species in a zoo before.
