The leopard enclosure you refer to is actually a jaguar enclosure.
There are two okapi exhibits, the larger and greener one opened with the new Africa expansion a few years ago. Perhaps you had not seen it before and only knew about the second one in the hoofstock grottoes? Or is there something entirely new since my visit last summer?
There are tiger cubs!!!???Do you know how old? I am returning in a couple weeks and would be very interested in this.
You are right about the jaguar, of course. I just misspoke.
For the okapis, I was only previously aware of the one near the African wild dogs. The "new" one I was referring to is next to the addax and Dama gazelle. The last time I was in that section, the path from that point to the cheetahs was closed for construction, so it might easily have been two years since I've been by that exhibit. I didn't walk past the other okapi exhibit this time, so I didn't see that there were two.
According to the zoo's website, the tiger cubs were born on Aug 3. You can see two photos of them on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TheOnlineZoo.
