I am frequently getting a problem when my PC freezes and the open page displays a 'not responding' error.

Recently another message has started to appear about a script not working.

The script is General Forums

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I did have a problem like that with ZooChat for a while (the "not responding" one), but I have now switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox and it has been fine since.

I am using Firefox. Is sit possible to delete the script, it only seems to shut down my computer, so it can't be working properly.

Does anyone know how to dix this problem, it is becoming more frequent.

the box that appears says

WARNING: Unrsponsive script

The text in the box is

"A script on this page may be busy or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue."

http:www.zoochat.com/:1

I have clicked on the debug script tab several times but nothing happens.

Is there no one who knows how to solve this problem? It is becoming very difficult to use my computer.

Sorry I cannot help, but I am NOT experiencing anything like that and I am using Internet Explorer. Does it happen to you with other internet sites, or only with ZooChat?

It is frequently when I am on Zoochat, but also when I am on other websites, and also when I am offline. Sometimes my PC freezes with the "not responding" error when I have not been online.

Then clearly it is a problem with your computer and not with the ZooChat site. (As people may recall there was a problem with the site a few months ago, but that has long since been fixed).

When I got my current laptop a year ago, it had a similar problem when it was brand new. I called Toshiba tech support and they walked me through a way to reset the entire computer as if it was new again (after saving any needed files as these would be erased). This solved the issues and it has worked fine ever since. You may need to either call your computer manufacturer tech support or take it into a local computer repair shop.
