In June 2017 I visited Alanya and was able to see myself sea-turtles are doing fine in Turkey. On a boat-trip we were able to spot 2 wild sea-turtles

and a restaurant-owner along the beach - about 5 kilometer from the centre of Alanya - showed me pictures of sea-turtle-hatchlings which were born on the beach near his restaurant
