Colchester Zoo Sealions/elephants question

Hello this is my first post, been going to colchester zoo annually since was a kid and has always been my favourite zoo but have a few questions which hopefully someone can answer:

Does anyone know why Colchester only has Female sealions. And what happened to the 3 old sealions(The male was called pat) did they move into the new exibit but not last long?

Another question how comes visitors are now unable to walk round the Bull elephants part of elephants kingdom. Does colchester plan to breed again from the existing herd?

Hi there,

i think when they completed the new sealion enclosure the Pat had just died and they put the two other ones in there but i think they died shortly after moving into their new home
