seasonal keeper stress

So I have been wondering if any other seasonal have had similar experiences or I have just had a rough 2 weeks. But lately I have been super stressed by my job which I love. And I think it has been causing me to mess up little things. Lately I have been running a area which I find the most stressful out of the ones I can run and on top of that I have been training two brand new interns who are 5 years older than me. Which just makes a strange dynamic. I think I have just been to hard on myself lately and over analyzing things which is making me miss little things, but I was curious if anyone else has had similar experiences.

Hi Luke, welcome to zoochat! Most members here aren't keepers, just people who love visiting zoos, but there are a few keepers, volunteers, and directors about. Other than running the stressful area, did anything else change recently? Maybe try to focus on the things you love about that area instead, and how the negative parts are required for the good parts. Don't worry about the interns' age, us older folk get used to people being younger ;)

Hi Luke and welcome
The end of the summer season is often when we feel the strain and the drain... it is made harder by the Covid culture we live in and all the stresses that brings. The entire world is stressed and workers carry new burdens. I can only say, for what little comfort it brings, that you are not wrong.
