Shepreth Wildlife Park Shepreth loses both wolves

Our local paper has reported that both wolves have recently died:

Lone wolf put down after partner's death

The actual article in the paper was longer and decsribed how he'd been howling in distress after she died.

It also said that "keepers hope to leave the enclosure empty for a while as a memorial and renovation work will be needed before any new occupants move in".

A new occupant has moved in, a female maned wolf called Ruby.

Any ideas where she came from? Maybe Banham, I was there last Sunday and I only saw one maned wolf.

Ruby is from Banham Zoo, yes. Banham has acquired three young male Maned Wolves from Edinburgh.
