On April 21, 2018, this Ocean Park was opened in Shandong Province. As in many other facilities of this kind, there is also a Dolphinarium, a Mermaid Show - very popular in China - , Seals and Sealions, Rainforest Exhibits with Crocodiles and Parrots, as well as enclosures for Alpacas, Kangaroos, Merkats, Capybaras etc. And unfortunately also for Arctic Fox and Arctic Wolves

If the pinnepeds are outdoors at these places they typically have decent pools. But inside...
As you say the chilled enclosures for artic carnivores are likely to be abysmal.

Have you come across Nanjing Underwater World? The most egregious example of a good aquarium twinned with an awful polar section I've seen.
