The Shreveport Aquarium is an aquarium that opened in 2017, in Shreveport, LA. The are currently non-AZA but are in the Pathway Toward Membership Program. The facility has many standard exhibits that other aquariums have, including shark/ray and shoreline touch pools, a shark tunnel, and a tropical river exhibit. They also participate in the rearing and release of the endangered American Paddlefish.

The aquarium is planning expansions, and recently posted two new exhibits for their rainforest section coming early September. Animals unknown as of yet. Log in or sign up to view

On June 30th, the aquarium announced they opened a new exhibit called Bugs! to the public which includes giant bug sculptures, as well as live species such as velvet ants, blue death feigning beetles, Indian domino cockroaches, Antilles pinktoe tarantula, and Madagascar hissing cockroaches, among other species.
