Sorry about the poor site performance today - apparently one of the other sites hosted on the server we use got "dugg", which resulted in a huge spike in traffic.

Our web hosting provider is currently trying to reduce the impact that is having.

Past tense of "Digg"

(yes, I know verbing a noun is poor grammar - but it has become a widely used term)

... a site which becomes popular via Digg (and hence gets swamped with new visitors) is said to have been Dugg.

Thanks very much for clearing that up I some of the pages I went on to couldn't be displayed, I thought it could of been problems with my Fire wall again,

Through out the day I been having problems with the website. Most of the times an error page will appear and it will say that there is a problem with the server.

Yeah, there seems to be a problem with the database server at the moment. I'm trying to get it looked at now.
