Hey Sim and folks,

zoochat is since this morning very slow and sometimes comlete down.
Is it just me or do have others problems too?

I am having the same problem. Terribly annoying:mad:
 
ZooChat has been brutally slow today for me......
 
same here too, i don't think anything can be done until sim wakes up
 
Our hosting provider has been doing some major infrastructure changes over the weekend - moving the servers to a new data centre and onto new hardware. Expect the site to be somewhat temperamental for a few more hours yet - then it should settle down (assuming everything is working correctly).

If the slowness doesn't improve, I'll get onto my provider and get them to look at the problem.
 
There's still a few things that need cleaning up, so some stuff might not work correctly yet.

Let me know if you find any problems (I know there are some missing photos in the gallery - I'll fix them up shortly).
 
I can't access the home page (where my bookmarks are set to). It says the server is down and takes me to the chat-room. Is anyone else having that problem? Should I change my bookmarks to go to the forum page instead?

Same problem with that.
 
I seem to be back up to full-strength now, after the site had been down for close to 3 days on my computer. As far as I can see I'm back up and running with everything working fine, including the home page.

I found I had this problem, when it was first moved to the new server. Sim suggested to me to re-create the bookmark (Favourite) and it has worked fine. Had to do it again today but I now I have no problems at all.
 
I can't get to the home page at all, whether I try to use a bookmark, or try to go there from the forum or gallery pages. Does it have something to do with cookies? It's not that big a deal, because I can still get to the gallery and forums, but it's nice to have the home page is the starting page.

same problem I had, and now all better :)
 
I've been trying for a few days to access the site with no luck - just a message telling me it's migrating. This morning I've googled Zoochat and have managed to get on via the Forums page, but not via the Home page.

I have no problems accessing the home page :confused: but I did re-create my favourites link because I had your problem.
