Snowboarding opossum: stupid fun story of the day

P.S. Is it common in US to have an opossum as a pet?

I don't think that it is legal to have an opossum as a pet, but there are always lots of them getting injured and ending up in wildlife rehab programs, so just about every zoo and nature center has them as education animal ambassadors. I would guess that this is how this ski resort got there opossum. They may have some kind of nature education program that allows them to keep it.
