The Central Florida Zoo is Orlando's zoo.
This is becoming a rather drawn- out point methinks,I mean does the AZA think DAK is a zoo? Do we discuss it here on this forum? Its getting to the point where black is white because something doesn't conform to an age-old set of largely North American parameters.Just because DAK has perhaps the ultimate in corporate/commercial owners with the necessary pressures to make money that the situation entails,does NOT mean that wild animals in restricted captivity is NOT a zoo.Snow Leopard and myself are working on a guide to U.S. zoos...surely no-one would suggest that DAK shouldn't be in it?
And to David... I wouldn't like to walk from Orlando to Sanford - its 20 miles!
