Some early Singaporian collections

a photo of a Sumatran rhino with that article, for those who like rhinos. It will be interesting to see all the photos when they are finally uploaded (which will be in September according to the article).

I missed the Van Kleef Aquarium. On my first visit to Singapore in 2004 I went looking for it in Fort Canning Park because it was still mentioned in a guidebook I had, but it no longer existed (it had actually closed in 1991!!).
 
The anniversary book about Singapore Zoo "The First 21 Years"(1994),has a brief overview of vanished Singapore animal collections.
