south lakes wild animal park is a good day out they have 5 spectalced bear's 1 male snoopy and 4 females mixed with indonesian otter's and brazilian tapir:)there is plans to extend the zoo with new species such as giant otters,jaguars,elephants and lowland paca they could do with upgrading some enclosure's such as the fennec fox enclosure which looks abit tatty they pygmy hippo's were supposed to be a breeding pair and they were hopes for some sumatran tiger cubs in early 2009:Dthey is a baby lowland paca been born at the park and what happened to egor nina's brother he may have passed away :(the primate house has good facilites for any more news please tell me thanks:D

yes but the website only gets updated once a month and i would like to know more about the primates, bears,lions and hippos
 
Any one who can say an exhibit that keeps predator and prey in the same exhibit is an good has got to be barking mad!!

I think the Bear/Tapirs/Otters mix is probably the most unsuitable one I've come across in any Zoo.
 
i agree but there is a new enclosure being made for the capybara's to move in with a primate perhaps moving the tapirs and otter's there 2
