Species known to be in the private trade

Hello, me and my friend want to create a zoo tycoon type Zoo simulator game someday and while I am researching I cannot seem to find a definitive resource on which species are found in the private trade and which ones are not. I am defining private trade as species available to for profit non accredited roadside zoos.
If there isn't one already maybe we could make a list here?

Exotic Animals For Sale <--- That website would probably be a good place to start.

SO MANY species can be found in the private trade, even if you're limiting yourself to North America. Your best ways to research it would be to look for listing on website (especially the aforementioned exoticanimalsforsale.net) and to go look at roadside zoos and live animal expos and auctions for yourself.

A look at the "Pets & Private collections" gallery would also help you out
It might not give a great overview. Most pictures posted there are done so by Vogelcommando and myself. Both of us aim for weird and rare species rather than the commonly available ones.

@doggoswoofwoof if you need details about certain species being in captivity outside of zoos, please send me a private message.

I remember years and years ago seeing albino Bank Voles in a Yorkshire pet shop and I haven't seen any since, nor can I find any for sale online. Are they still around?
