Hello everyone, I'll make a route through various zoos in California in April 2022. Can you tell me how to get the updated lists of species in the parks of this list?

- Los Angeles Zoo
- Santa Monica Pier Aquarium
- Aquarium of the Pacific
- The Reptile Zoo
- Santa Ana Zoo
- Orange County Zoo
- Ocean Institute Dana Point
- Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography
- Sea World Sanf Diego
- San Diego Zoo
- San Diego Zoo Safari Park
- Living Desert
- Big Bear Alpine Zoo

Thanks!

I have had good luck simply asking nicely via email or snail mail in the past.

BTW, "Living Desert" is in New Mexico, but I know you mean "The Living Desert" in Palm Desert CA, just to clarify. It sounds nit-picky, but it helps keep things from being confused. :)

I differentiate by Living Desert State Park vs Living Desert Zoo.

La Zoo: List of Species On Exhibit 7-22-15 [Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens]
San Diego Zoo: San Diego Zoo Complete Species List [San Diego Zoo]
San Diego Zoo Safari Park:
San Diego Zoo Safari Park Complete Species List [San Diego Zoo Safari Park]
Santa Ana Zoo and Orange County Zoo have almost all of their species listed on their maps or lists.
For Aquarium of the Pacific, SeaWorld San Diego, Living Desert, and Big Bear Alpine Zoo I can create lists from photos and memory, although for the aquariums I will not be able to get exact fish species for obvious reasons.
Santa Monica and Dana Point have very small collections so you could probably figure out most of their species through photos. Birch doesn’t have much of a list Im afraid.

I really appreciate if You can create those lists.

Regarding the list of LA Zoo, it must be outdated, right? Because the list is from 2015...

Indeed, I am talking about The Living Desert ;)

Not much has changed since then. The Ibexes, rhinos, and hippos are all gone. Maybe the lions too (I don’t know if they were replaced). If your really worried go through all of the transactions and deaths papers since 2015.

Are giant elands still in any of the listed parks? I've read that yes, but I've received contradictory information...
