Here the list of species and number of observed individuals representing those species. This likely an undercount of individual animals (Brown and Black Bears and Porcupines present). The Canada Lynx have not been observed the last two visits. The AWCC does have a Wolverine off show (the animal was being experimentally trained to aid in the recovery of avalanche victims).
The AWCC is building a new carnivore exhibit. If I had to guess, I imagine either the Wolverine or the Lynx will inhabit the new exhibit…although it’s design says Wolverine to me.
Annoyingly to me, but from a safety / human stupidity intersect probably wise, more barriers have been placed keeping visitors away from primary fencing and therefore ruining what was a series of excellent photographic opportunities.
Except for the bears, whose exhibits are overlooked by an elevated walkway.

American (northwestern) Crow (this is the furthest north I’ve observed the species…they have not colonized the Anchorage area).
