Minieuroland is a 2-ha entertainment park showcasting miniatures of famous historical buildings in nicely kept gardens. Kitschy but popular. It´s located on far outskirts of a nice historical town Klodzko, the park itself is surrounded by wheatfields and separated from the town by a highway and a sprawling shopping park. Entrance fee - adult 55 zloty (€12,70), child 49 zloty (€11,30). Overpriced food and coffee.
Owners´ve decided to incorporate ornamental birds recently, with new enclosures opening mostly 2023-2024.
Here is a species list sorted by enclosure.
(Disclaimer: Signage is between patchy and non-existant, sometimes downright wrong, I relied on visual identification and might miss something).
Marmoset Aviary - a glass-fronted vitrine.
Meerkat Kingdom - smallish but decent enclosure.
Squirrel House - a walk-through cage, feeding by visitors
Flamingo corner - a miniature cage, will be enlarged next year (new pond visible)
Lorikeet temple - a house with angkor-wat and Indian theming, with glass roof, devided into several rooms, no outside aviaries (yet?)
One of the ponds with waterlilies had also some fish, maybe Prussian carp.
Total: 39
4 mammal species
34 bird species
1 fish species
This is not a fun place for zoochatters. Basically all birds are kept just for their ornamental function, with no possibility to breed. And I probably saw the fatties squirrel ever, with unlimited supply of sunflower seeds and nuts fed by people.
