Species Lists from outside Europe please?

In Europe we have a web site (Zootierliste) for people to upload and update zoological collection species held within that collection.

I was wondering if other continents have the same sort of thing or if there are web pages around that give details on which collections keep which species, the main places I am interested in are United States and Asia

Any help would be wonderful and very interesting.
