We've got a lot of discussion about the possibilities that CITES is over-listing certain species, e.g. the COP19 debate around live trade in elephants and the pre-existing and seemingly eternal debate over legal ivory sales and moving certain Southern African populations to Appendix II.
But are there any species that you think are being under-protected or ignored by CITES? Something that should be Appendix I but is only on II or III? Or something that isn't listed at all but should be?
