Stalls vs. realistic indoor exhibits

Hi,

I like zoos with naturalistic indoor holding for big animals, not just cages/stalls/dens.

For example, elephant house in Rotterdam:

What do you think? Why not more zoos are like that?

I completely agree - it is a shame that money is not spent making indoor enclosures that live up to the outdoor enclosures, especially in climates such as the UK where animals may spend more time inside avoiding the rain
