Colchester Zoo Striped Hyena

Colchester Zoo did have a Striped Hyena called Horacce and he was listed in the 'Animals' section on the Colchester Zoo website, but he has suddenly been removed from the list. Has he been put down, removed out of the colection or something? If he has died I just want to say he was my favorite hyena EVER and he will never be fogotten!!!

Are you actually talking about one of the striped hyenas, which admittedly could be fairly old, or do you mean the single spotted hyena?

The striped hyenas, Sabir and Horace. I have reason to believe Horace is alive and well at this moment in time.

I saw the spotted hynea today. She looked well and was making good use of the notorious cave in the enclosure.
