@pachyderm pro I will certainly do a report for that trip (and if I start thinking now I might even come up with a creative title). I tried to include California on my last trip but it simply wasn't practical. I'm striving to allow 2 days at both San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park, so it will require a dedicated California trip.
I am surprised to read there is a snow leopard in Bear Canyon. Thanks for the tip, I will have to look for that when I visit next week.
I have fond memories of Seaport Village and am somewhat melancholy upon learning of its upcoming demise. Let's hope the new development is worthwhile.

The snow leopard in "bear canyon" is Ramil. He is the male who had his eye removed.
