I wonder if anyone can help at all?

My 10 year old is OBSESSED with Tasmanian Devils.

We would love to visit a zoo in Europe, this August, which has a programme of some kind.

Ideally we would LOVE a zoo keeper type experience, in English for him, where we can just talk to a zookeeper about them/about the breeding programmes etc. Does anyone know of any? ... Happy to go anywhere really but ideally Europe, as it's a once in a lifetime experience for him (we're not going to Tasmania anytime soon! hahah)

Happy of course to donate/pay, or anything to support the zoo and the programme, as part of that. I would just love to make his dreams come true. He's a shy, quiet and extremely engaged little boy, and this would be the best experience of his life !!! xxx

Prague zoo keeps Tasmanian devils and has paid visitors programs themed around them. However, it doesnt offer any that would suit your boy I´m afraid.

1. Keeper for a day program in Australian house where you would shadow a keeper for 4 hours. Its participants must be over 18 years of age (I guess due to liability clauses in insurance policy thus non-negotiable).

2. Sunset guided tour to observe devils and kangaroos (1 hour) - devil keeper interacts with you, he feeds the devils and makes commentary and answers questions. But it´s a group activity and most/all others will be Czech people so your boy wont understand. And he would have at best few minutes to ask questions.
