Here is a nice ten minute film on conservationist Alan Rabinowitz of Panthera. It tells how animals, including a jaguar at the Bronx Zoo, comforted him during his childhood. He had a difficult childhood due to a severe stutter. The live jaguar used in the opening and closing sequence is Morato from Cat Haven in California. The setting for the opening Bronx Zoo sequence looks to me like it is the old Griffith Park Zoo in Los Angeles (down the road from current zoo and now a picnic area).
