Plans are afoot, but please understand. It’s not exactly an easy world to be living in at present, and sometimes people have more going on than online games. I started the British edition at a time when I underestimated the mental workload of merely existing through a year like this one. I regret starting it, but I don’t regret stopping.
There is no timeline for a ZooChat Cup. It’s not as if zoos are athletes and lose condition, or get old and retire. It can sit dormant for a while and then it can come back. In fact, I think past experience has shown that breaks are better for the game, and the original plan had been not to hold one this year at all, while I was supposed to be travelling.
The Cup *will* be back.

To expand further, @CGSwans has tapped me to get the British cup going again (with the same collections and contest structure, but starting afresh and scrapping the bonus vote mechanic) - which I have agreed to do and hope to get going very soon 
aimed to do it last week as a matter of fact, but been a bit under the weather and lacking in the mental "spoons" to write much!
