Theater of the Sea is a 17-acre facility located in Islamorada, Florida. Species at the facility include common bottlenose dolphin, California sea lion, golden-collared macaw, African grey parrot, white cockatoo, blue-and-gold macaw, green iguana, American alligator, hawksbill sea turtle, cownose ray, nurse shark, among others.

On May 17th, the facility announced it was granted continued accreditation from the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks & Aquariums in 2021.

On June 30th, it was announced that the facility received $88,097 from the AZA and the US Fish and Wildlife Service for the care of endangered species.

est. 42-year-old bottlenose dolphin 1.0 Stormy passed away on March 27th, 2025 from liver failure. Stormy was wild-caught on September 13th, 1986, and has lived at Theater of the Sea since. He was the facility's oldest dolphin, and the father of three sons still housed at the park; Sherman, Skipper, and Trooper.
 
On July 18th, the marine park announced that a scaly-breasted lorikeet named Felix hatched on March 31st, which is on exhibit.

On November 21st, the marine park announced they acquired (0.3f) Atlantic bottlenose dolphins named Sandy, Capri, and Soleli from the now-closed Gulf World Marine Park in Florida (Capri and Soleli were bought by Theater of the Sea for $500K), which are now on exhibit.
