Decided to continue this thread, with my trip at the zoo today being very brief I was rushing through it, getting some photos etc.

Here is some updated news:
- the new trio of lions that we are going to be getting soon will not be put on exhibit with two males we currently have, they will be separated so the brothers will stay together for companionship and they could put Lindy with the new group but that would leave Jerroh along due to his mane which may cause tension between the new male, as it shows dominance (taken from the keeper talk)
- A LOT of construction in the Americas ANY aquatic exhibit is under renos, the whole insect wing, however the Marine room that was under construction is now completed!
- Now have a pair of Snowy Owls in the Tundra, hopefully we will have some babies soon :)
- The big fish tank in Australasia is not doing very well, some of the fish in there look extremely sick, hoping the zoo can fix that soon
- The Eurasian Garden Phase 2 is now complete, just have to wait for the growing to start in the spring and to fill up the pond, it look really cool, I can't wait to see all the cherry blossoms make this area look very pink!
- There was surveying in Eurasia being done when I was there I am assuming the zoo will go ahead with construction in the spring
- The reindeers have disappeared, perhaps santa never brought them back :p, there are now yaks in the old reindeer exhibit I assume the reindeer have moved to the Tundra, there was traces of animals in the Tundra exhibit however I never say any
- The Stingrays sign says closed for the season, so potentially coming back?
- The polar bear cub was very active and extremely loud, the zoo has made this birth huge, more viewing into the den and signs EVERYWHERE!
