Since there is not a thread for this facility, I figured I would start one.
The Tracy Aviary lost its AZA accreditation back in 2006 due to concerns about aging infrastructure. Since this has occurred the Aviary put out an appeal to the city to help them get back on track. In November of 2008, Salt Lake County voters approved a $19.6 million bond (http://www.tracyaviary.org/uploads/FactSheet-Prop1.pdf) to help the aviary get back on track. Projects include updated winter bird housing,

renovation of a large flight cage into a walkthrough wetland aviary,
Tracy Aviary: Exhibits
and the renovation of an aging pavilion into the Wilson South America Pavilion, which is due to open on June 19, 2010. The Aviary has since regained accreditation.
