Chester Zoo Tropical bird house bird IDs needed!

Also spotted at Chester yesterday, one white jackdaw in the rhea enclosure with about 50 black ones.

Im sorry i cannot help, yet i remember people telling me about this Jackdaw, i never saw it so thanks for the photo!!!

Not sure about the first one but im inclined to suggest Asian Glossy Starling with the second.

Cheers! I've had IDs on Flickr from a certain Hornbill-loving person which agree with you Female amethyst starling for the first, and female glossy for the second. I'm familiar with the male colouring of both those, but this is the first time I've seen the females.
