Port Lympne Wild Animal Park Trying to locate a tapir!

Back in September 2011, I saw Kejutan, a baby malayan tapir (m) who has been born just a few days earlier at Port Lympne in Kent, UK.
As a child, he was the catalyst to my love for tapirs - and I still have pictures of my first encounter with him hung on my wall! Having visited Port Lympne again recently, I found out he is no longer there!
So I’m wondering if anyone has any knowledge of where he may have moved to? I’d love to see him again if possible

he is in France. Someone might have more detailed info if they’ve seen him recently though.

0,1 Raja (07-10-2016, Zoo Antwerpen)

And in the news thread it looks like he is father to a new baby tapir in Late 2023

Wow - thank you so much!

Slightly gutted he isn’t still in the UK but how amazing to see a pic of him now and know that he’s had his own baby!

If I am ever in Nantes - I know who I’ll be visiting!
