Hello! As the elephant database is currently down I decided I was going to make my own I now have basic information for all the elephants in the Uk. Would anybody be interested having the information? Is it a good idea? If so how would I post the infomation?

I have checked the data on the website and discovered that some of the infomation from the website is false unfortuonatly. The info I have used is mainly sourced from the place the animal is housed at. Each zoo I have been to I have noted down the infomation about each elephant which is displayed.
 
it would be interesting to see what you have versus the information on that site.
 
Yes I will post it as a forum on the United Kindom section in a couple of days when I return home. The infomation is only of living elephants but I will include the African species aswell as the Asian so every one in the UK.

Thanks in advance for this Elephas. I am somewhat out of the loop regarding recent developments with the UK elephant herd and would find it most useful to have up to date information in one place and readily accessible.

No worrys it's what I love doing! I was just wondering how to present the infomation on zoo chat. Would you like to see an individual profile for each elephant with a picture or just writen infomation, I don't know any suggestions?
