Unused old exhibits

Was curious brookfield zoo does not use there old bear grottos or a couple of old exhibits to thd right do u think they will revamp them and if they do or did what possible species would be best fit for that area im sure a thread has been done for it and miswell make it for all zoos while on the topic

Woodland Park Zoo's day exhibit (which was also known as the reptile house) was closed due to a fire. A couple turtles died in the fire, while some others survived and were sent to other AZA-accredited zoos. I emailed them back in the fall with a few questions, and one of the questions was if they were going to re-open the day exhibit. I got this response:

"The Day/Night Exhibit was just about to enter planning stages when the pandemic put plans on hold".

I thought they weren't going to use the exhibit until I asked them what they were gonna do with it.
