With the limitations on travel on travel due to COVID-19, I have found myself turning my lens to animals in and around my home in suburban Maryland.
My plan has been a simple one—get up early and walk quietly around the local lake. The lake is a popular walking and exercise spot throughout the day, and with all the activity, the animals that also call it home, fade from sight. But if you are up with the sun, you can find yourself welcomed into their world, as I was one day with a small herd of white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus).
