USB Problem

Hi everyone wondered if anybody could help?

Somebody at work has a USB memory stick that they use to store files on but when they plug it into the computer it says "disk not formatted do you wish to format" is there any way they can retrieve the data from the stick as it is very important data so important that they forgot to back it up

I've had something like this before and i think i used "getdataback".

I tried two programs, a freeware that, in the end, didn't work properly and a recovery software that was for sale which did work a treat...

I think the one that worked was called "GetDataBack", but there might be people here that are better suited to help you.

At least know that ss long as you don't put anything new on the USB you should be able to retrieve most information on it with a data recovery program...
