I visited the Galloway Wildlife Park during Easter weekend, my first visit in almost 3 years, and was amazed by the changes!
The collection is wide and varied including Maned Wolves, Bat-Eared Fox, Red Pandas, Ring-Tailed and Black&White Lemurs, Lowland Anoa, Oriental Small-Clawed Otters and Temminck’s Tragopan amonst many many more.
They have a brilliant mixed South American enclosure featuring Capybara, Brazilian Tapirs and Common Rheas.
A new Caracal Lynx enclosure was completed last year for £10,000 following a long period of fundraising. Absolutely stunning animals
Facilities include a cafe with indoor & outdoor seating, shop, disabled & baby facilities, free parking, snake handling sessions and nature trails.
Well worth a visit!
