Am going up to blackpool zoo on Saturday, this will be my first visit there. Can anyone suggest anything thats a must see there? As therie website is not the best.

They have some high profile animals, but do they have any unusually worth seeing animals there?

I think they have recently got Aardvarks, they'll be worth seeing. Can you try and get some photos of the new Giraffe exhibit please? :)

I yes, they wuld be a first time viewing. Thanks Ashley-h.

I will try, my daughter loves giraffes, so I doubt i will getaway from not seeing them ;)

My personal favourites include the first animal you'll probably see - Darwin the giant tortoise, who may be a Seychelles tortoise - which is as rare as any species on Earth.
Don't miss the dwarf mouse lemurs in the monkey house and the flock of roseate cockatoos (galahs) next door.

dont bristol have dwarf mouse lemurs too? or is it grey mouse lemur? (is there reallly any difference;) )

I believe that Blackpool also have large groups of red titi and ground cuscus too

Blackpool kept these species at the beginning of the year. Add giraffes and aarvarks.
