Smithsonian National Zoo visit to national zoo

In late august i will be making the trip to washington to visit the national zoo. I am excited to see species like giant anteater, kiwi, giant panda, giant salmanders and komodo dragons. The elephants are suposed to have acess to the new yards which are part of elephant trails. I will take lots of pictures and post a review

I'll be going next Wed. So the Naitonal Zoo pics will definatly be upgrated!

For the elephants, I have been reading their blog and it states that due to the the slow acclimation process into the new barn and yards, they may not be visable. Hopefully they will be, because I haven't seen them since last year.
