Adelaide Zoo Visiting the Giant Pandas

I'm planning to visit the Adelaide Zoo during April and am looking forward to seeing the Giant Pandas. Just wondering whether anyone knows if there is a certain time that they are fed, when they are generally most active etc to get the most out of my visit. Thanks, Robyn

When I went last March I went on the first viewing in the morning (9:30 or 9:45). Both pandas had just been given bamboo. Funi was eating hers, and then later went to sleep. The problem was, they fed them indoors and the glass has some fierce reflections making viewing difficult and photography next to impossible. Wang Wang, on the other hand, ignored his bamboo and patrolled his exhibit non-stop for more than half an hour.

If you visit, go during the week (not in school holidays) and get there as early as you can.

:p
