Newquay Zoo Visiting the zoo

Hi everyone. Mid July I am going to cornwall and staying near to padstow. I want to visit newquay zoo and can get a lift there. However to get back is there a bus that goes from Newquay to either padstow or wadebriodge. Any help would be great. Also, how long would it take me to get around the zoo, as in how large is it?

I don't know about buses but i'd say around three hours to get around the zoo. It's a nice zoo and the tropical house is one of my favourite exhibits i've seen anywhere.

I think the zoo is around 15 acres in size (not accurate) with many unusual species and some nice enclosures. The zoo could be done quite quickly around 2 hours I reckon (but I end up going around 20 times, from opening to closing)
