Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre visitor report

Just an update they now have a family group of 7 Commomn Marmosets, that arrived in December 2010.
So they now have the following primate species as well Rhesus Monkey,Stump-tailed Macaque and Tufted Capuchin.
They also have Northern Lynx,Common Raccoon,Coati,Scottish Wildcat and Egyptian Fruit Bats, they also have most of the types of Birds of Prey you would expect to see in a small falconry centre.

I saw that too - planning a trip out in the near future though - THEY HAVE LYNX AND KINKAJOUS - sorry, got a little excited there!

Good luck seeing the Kinkajous I have been 3 times this year and still not seen them,I also went 5 times last year and didn't see them once, despite the fact they have atleast 4!!

The 2012.5 Zoochat challenge, get photos of these Kinkajous :)

The challenge should be to get photos of a Kinkajou full stop!

Five Sisters - offshow
Gentleshaw - evidently a bugger to spot
London - onshow but in a highly illuminated area, so unlikely to emerge at all during the day.
Newquay - No clue.
Glasgow Amazonia - Vaguely recall hearing a similar case to London.
Porfell - No clue.

Newquays are on-show in their nocturnal house and have always been very showy, when ever I have visited.

I'll second that re Newquay, but I've got say I've only seen Gentleshaw's once in many visits (and that was only because a keeper was feeding them and purposely tempted them out for us).

Buster, the parks last remaining Northern Lynx has left today for Five Sisters
