This is a species list that reflects Walkabout Creek Wildlife Centre’s collection as of the 3rd July 2022. Note there are some exhibits that were under construction that will accommodate reptiles in the future including Major Skinks, Eastern Blue-tongue and a species of leaf-tailed gecko. The fencing in the outdoor area will soon be completed enabling the centre to acquire more macropods to join their two Swamp Wallabies. It is important to recognise that the centre only covers a small footprint of land but it has been impressive to see how much they now pack into the place following recent developments and construction including the acquisition of striped possum, echidna, tree-kangaroo and feathertail gliders. The range of native fish is also a highlight and I confirmed their more obscure species with one of the keepers so it should be complete. Species in italics were signed but not seen.
