Walrus: captive breeding success rates?

Yes, the NY aquarium has a breeding age females, and a older female that came in with the breeding male.

@Jwer. Good News. I cross the fingers they will have more luck than the last time...Are they breeding with more than one female ?

Yes and no, as far as I know, one female had 1 birth a few years ago and none since (her offspring is still alive).

The other female had a male calf which died at around the age of six (ish?), her next calf is still alive, her third calf was the premature in 200...9? and she's the one pregnant again.

I don't think they expect any more calves from the first female.
